A World of Opportunity for Your Child
CCDC takes pride in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children of all ages, from our youngest infants to our curious toddlers and eager preschoolers. CCDC is accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), which means we have proven to meet or exceed the highest standards that exist nationally for schools for young children.
Our programs are thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique needs and developmental stages of every child. When concern regarding developmental milestones is shown by the family or teacher, CCDC will help families seek the appropriate interventions, such as Birth to Three or connections to the Hartford Board of Education. Our attentive and caring teachers ensure that your little ones receive the support they deserve, while engaging in activities that foster growth and learning.

Family Communication

Communication is at the heart of our philosophy for strong family-teacher partnerships. We understand the importance of staying connected with families, which is why we have chosen Brightwheel as our primary communication tool.
Through this user-friendly app, all parents can receive real-time updates on their child’s daily activities, from meals and naps to exciting learning moments. Brightwheel allows our teachers and parents to exchange messages, share photos, and maintain a seamless flow of information, ensuring that you’re always informed about your little one’s progress and experiences throughout the day.

Children’s brains grow rapidly in their earliest years, laying the foundation for the rest of their lives — with learning fueled by play and interactions between children and their family and caregivers.
In collaboration with the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood, we are proud to use Sparkler, a mobile app that helps families check in on how their child is doing against key milestones and provides activities to spark their early learning. With a view for families, and another for caregivers, Sparkler makes it easy to stay in communication with CCDC teachers about your child’s development.
